Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager will report directly to the VP, Global Business Development. The successful candidate will be in a key position to execute the marketing strategy in support of the overall business strategy and to meet the growth objectives set by senior management and the board of directors. As a small company with a unique technology, opportunity and challenges, the candidate needs to view this assignment as a new venture startup. Responsibilities include creating and driving the branding strategy for the direct sales channel in the US as well as in the EU. This includes the definition and creation of all marketing and sales materials. The daily tasks will include:
• Create the brands necessary to support the effort.
• Content, design and creation of key sales and marketing materials, including the website
• Market data collection and analysis for key US and EU market segments
• Represent, make presentations and participate in panel discussions on behalf of the company at industry events
• Write press releases and communicate with channel partners on a periodic basis
• Set up and manage advertising and promotions calendar
• Manage relevant portion of marketing budget
• Generate and place advertisements in selected industry media
• Assist in setting up price lists for distributors
• Support sales to achieve budget and profitability targets
• Be an expert in LEED, EPact, Energy Star and other areas, which directly impact the business

Compensation:
