Principal at Cleantech Venture Capital Firm (November 1 start date, Amsterdam/London)--ID#10311

Background:
The Fund is focused on early stage entrepreneurial opportunities in the United States, Europe, and, progressively, India. The Fund will invest in market-drive solutions to environmental challenges, leveraging technologies and innovative business models.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate should be a proven venture capitalist or entrepreneur, an exceptional sense of business, and a keen understanding of clean technology. By intuition, he or she should be a company-builder, more than an investor. The successful candidate will most likely come from one of two professional backgrounds: either a former venture capitalist with demonstrated track record and strong financial success, or a successful entrepreneur with impressive experience and a track record in scaling early stage ventures.

Roles and Responsibilities:   
•    Perform due diligence on potential European investments
•    Source potential cleantech investments throughout Europe and, potentially, India
•    Provide transactional investment support and experience

Skills and Qualifications:
•    Six to eight years experience in the venture capital industry
•    Strong financial modeling skills
•    Entrepreneurial flair
•    Comfortable working in an international environment
•    MBA from top-tier University  
•    Charismatic, authoritative and clear communicator, able to influence and persuade entrepreneurs
•    Exceptional integrity and discretion

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience and qualifications, and including an interest in the fund's carry plus relocation expenses.
