Our client provides project management, consultancy and engineering services to deliver enhanced sustainability, mobility and quality of life. The company itself comprises a fantastic global network of business professionals with approximately 13,000 employees.

The company is now seeking energy assessors to carry out assessments on commercial buildings.
   
The job…
•    To assess and provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) for commercial buildings across the UK
•    Working as part of a team of Energy Assessors with approximately 20% working independently out of the office
•    Assessing commercial buildings’ energy use, collating the information required to calculate the EPC
•    80% of the time will be spent in the office calculating the results and putting together the report for the EPCs to be issued.

You…
•    Have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, design engineering or installing HVAC systems
•    Have an interest in training to become an energy assessor
•    Have good knowledge of HVAC systems
•    Have some degree of experience in low carbon consultancy
•    Are familiar with Hevacomp Part L (the calculation tool for planning) and CAD
•    Knowledge of BREEAM is a bonus
•    Are flexible to travel around the UK and have a valid driving licence
