Internship Program

What we’re like:
Bright Green is a vibrant, busy start-up environment. We’re small, young, and exceptionally ambitious. We're thrilled to be working to solve some of the world's biggest problems by placing people in sustainable, responsible careers, and we're now looking to foster the next generation of environmental leaders through our internship program.

What you’re like:
- Eager to get involved in the sustainability sector.
- Creative, hard-working and entrepreneurial.
- Capable of self-managing and making things happen efficiently.
- Good communicator and writer, and comfortable on the phone.
-  You can operate a computer, word, spreadsheets etc. with a good degree of competence. General tech-wizardry, knowledge of web-based programming languages (PHP, SQL, Filemaker, XML, Joomla) and experience with Mac computers are all a plus.

What you'll be up to:
Bright Green interns are flexible and eager folks who get stuck in where required in the organization. We'll give you plenty of direction, but your job role will partly depend on your strengths. Some sample responsibilities may include:
-    Helping us to build our client base by researching and targeting jobs with inspiring new clients.
-    Researching excellent people to fit our higher level and executive search jobs.
-    Developing Bright Green's social-networking campaigns and optimizing our internal network.
-    Working with our contact database to make sure that the ideal candidates match with the right job.
-    Taking responsibility for press/marketing activities such as job advertising, researching for press articles, or writing our monthly newsletter.
-    Lending a hand wherever it's needed.

Practical details:
Monthly stipend, monthly muni pass, fresh fruit, and a chance to build a green business from the ground up are all part of the package. We're happy to help you receive academic credit for your work. Hours and internship length are flexible to your requirements, although we recommend a minimum of 3 days per week and 3 months of time span.

Interested applicants should send their resumes to "howdy@brightgreentalent.com" with "Howdy, Intern!" in the subject.
