Position Overview:
The Database Engineer will own the database design, administration, physical infrastructure and application access.

Roles and Responsibilities:
•    Full ownership of data warehouse design
•    Full ownership of backup and recoverability strategy
•    Ad-hoc query support for various business units
•    Full ownership of design of partitioning, aggregation and replication strategies

Skills and Qualifications:
•     BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
•     Engineer who manages to get far more done than your peers.
•     Experience with VLDB systems, including aggregation and partitioning strategies, parallelism, replication.
•    Guru with SQL and stored procedures
•    At least 5 years experience working with MySQL and Oracle
•    Experience working with applications that access terabyte sized databases
